10 Week Challenge
10 weeks are going to go by whether you take this challenge or not. Why not put
in 30 minutes a day, six days a week, to help your body become healthier? Why not spend a few minutes each day
helping your marriage become healthier?
The 1st Law of Swim-N-Air and Strengthen Your Marriage TM states:
All bodies and marriages will become unhealthy unless time and energy are expended
to keep them healthy.
The 2nd Law of Swim-N-Air and Strengthen Your Marriage TM states:
When time and energy are expended, most bodies and marriages can return or stay
in a healthy state.
The 3rd Law of Swim-N-Air and Strengthen Your Marriage TM states:
Bodies and marriages are never static. They are either progressing towards a healthier
or unhealthier state.
The 10 week challenge has been designed to help you develop life-long habits that
can keep your body and your marriage progressing towards a healthier state.
Four Steps to Completing the Challenge
The first step is to read the three topic areas on Swim-N-Air, Healthy Marriage and Healthy Self.
The second step is to print the 10 Week Swim-N-Air and Strengthen Your Marriage Challenge Log.
The third step is to print, fill out and sign the contract you are making with yourself.
The fourth step is the most important. Take
the information you learn and use it. The information you learn will never
help your physical, mental or marital health unless you use it.
Weight Loss
If one of the main reasons you are doing the Swim-N-Air TM Total body workout is to lose weight you need to understand the “Secret to Weight Loss”.
The "Secret to Weight Loss", is what doctors and researchers have been saying for years.
Decrease the amount of calories you eat and increase the number of calories you
use.
The Swim-N-Air TM
Total Body Workout is a great way to increase the number of calories you use. However, no amount of exercise will
help you lose weight if you are still eating more calories then your body needs. Exercise can help you achieve
your weight loss goals but only when you decrease the number of calories you eat below the number of calories your
body uses each day.
The key to decreasing your calorie intake is to simply decrease your portion sizes
to the point where you are losing two pounds a week. You don't have to stop eating anything you love. You just
need to eat smaller portion sizes. You also don't need to be hungry just because you are eating smaller portion
sizes. By significantly increasing the amount of water you drink before, during and after each meal or snack you
can feel full even though you ate less.
